After two bridges on the Baltal route were washed away in a landslide, the Indian Army rebuilt them overnight in record time on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday to ensure smooth continuation of the Amarnath Yatra. The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, assisting the civil administration for the safety and smooth conduct of the Amarnath Yatra, which began on June 30, rebuilt these bridges in record time.
